Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is hiring a Graduate Environmental Advisor in Taunton. You will join the Environmental Services team and work on EIAs, environmental planning, and sustainability projects for regulated water and energy clients.

You will develop innovative environmental solutions, support regulatory compliance, and progress toward professional chartership with bodies such as CIWEM, IEMA, or RTPI, while collaborating with engineers and planners on net-zero initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Science, or Environmental Planning accredited by CIWEM, IEMA or RTPI.
• Willingness to come into the office 4 days per week in Taunton, UK.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and contribute to screening, scoping, and statements.
• Carry out environmental management studies, audits, and sustainability reviews across project lifecycles.
• Prepare environmental planning reports, statements, and appraisals for regulatory approvals.
• Manage environmental constraints, sustainability risks, and mitigation strategies across diverse projects.
• Collaborate with senior team members, clients, and statutory bodies in the regulated water and energy sectors.
• Integrate environmental considerations with engineering and design teams to deliver net-zero solutions.
