Job summary

Stantec in Taunton invites applications for the 2027 Graduate Programme within the Environmental Services team. You will contribute to EIAs, environmental statements, and regulatory approvals on major UK infrastructure projects.

The role supports professional progression toward chartership with IEMA, CIWEM, or RTPI, and requires in-office presence four days per week. Applicants must have unconditional UK work rights.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have a relevant degree and be eligible for UK work rights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct EIAs and contribute to EIA screening, scoping, and environmental statements.
• Carry out environmental management studies, compliance audits, and sustainability reviews across project lifecycles.
• Prepare environmental planning reports, statements, and appraisals for regulatory approvals.
• Manage environmental constraints, sustainability risks, and mitigation strategies across diverse projects.
• Work with senior team members, external clients, and statutory bodies in regulated water and energy sectors.
• Integrate environmental considerations with engineering, planning and design teams to deliver net-zero solutions.
