Job summary

Stantec is recruiting for a Graduate-Environmental Planning & Advisory in its Bristol office. You will join a multidisciplinary Environmental Services team, working with clients in the regulated water and energy sectors to develop sustainable, net-zero solutions and support regulatory approvals.

To succeed you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Science, or Environmental Planning, accredited by CIWEM, IEMA, or RTPI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Science, or Environmental Planning accredited by CIWEM, IEMA or RTPI.
• You will contribute to EIAs, environmental statements and regulatory approvals.
• You will work with external clients and statutory bodies across water and energy sectors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and contribute to screening, scoping and statements.
• Carry out environmental management studies, audits and sustainability reviews across project lifecycles.
• Prepare environmental planning reports, statements and appraisals for regulatory approvals.
• Manage environmental constraints, sustainability risks and mitigation strategies across projects.
• Work with senior teams, clients and statutory bodies in the water and energy sectors.
• Integrate environmental considerations with engineering, planning and design teams to deliver net-zero solutions.
