Stantec is recruiting a Graduate-Environmental Planning & Advisory for our Taunton office. You will join a multidisciplinary Environmental Services team and work with clients in regulated water and energy sectors on EIAs, planning reports, and sustainability initiatives.

We support professional qualifications (IEMA, CIWEM, RTPI) and provide a structured progression plan. The role emphasizes net-zero outcomes and collaboration across engineering and design teams, with a 4-day-per-week office

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Science, or Environmental Planning accredited by CIWEM, IEMA, or RTPI.
• Graduate programme seeks adaptable, collaborative individuals with a passion for sustainable infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Conducting EIAs and contributing to screening, scoping, and environmental statements.
• Carrying out environmental management studies, compliance audits, and sustainability reviews.
• Preparing environmental planning reports, statements and appraisals for regulatory approvals.
• Managing environmental constraints, sustainability risks and mitigation strategies across projects.
• Working with senior team members, clients and statutory bodies in water and energy sectors.
• Integrating environmental considerations with engineering, planning and design teams to deliver net-zero solutions.
