As a Talent Sourcing Specialist, you’ll focus on finding and engaging great people, including those who may not be actively looking for their next opportunity. You’ll use a variety of sourcing tools, market insight and creative approaches to build strong talent pipelines and connect candidates with opportunities that match their skills and aspirations.

Key Accountabilities

What you’ll be doing

• Proactively identify and engage candidates using a variety of sourcing channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, talent pools, referrals and social media.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Use proactive search and headhunting techniques to identify passive talent, including specialist and hard-to-find skill sets.
• Partner with Recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements, target candidate profiles and the wider recruitment strategy.
• Develop effective sourcing strategies based on role requirements, market availability and hiring priorities.
• Conduct high-quality conversations with potential candidates to understand their skills, experience, career aspirations and motivations.
• Assess candidate suitability and present strong, relevant profiles with clear recommendations.
• Use market insight and talent intelligence to highlight sourcing challenges, opportunities and alternative approaches.
• Create engaging outreach that brings opportunities and client brands to life.
• Build lasting relationships with candidates, creating pipelines that can be re-engaged for future opportunities.
• Deliver a positive candidate experience, keeping candidates engaged and informed throughout the sourcing journey.
• Track sourcing activity, candidate pipelines and progress accurately across relevant recruitment systems.
• Work collaboratively with Recruiters and wider recruitment teams to achieve successful hiring outcomes

Skills & Requirements

What we’re looking for

Must haves

• Previous experience within talent sourcing, recruitment or talent acquisition, with a strong focus on proactively identifying and engaging candidates.
• Confidence sourcing and headhunting passive talent rather than relying solely on applications.
• Experience using a variety of sourcing channels such as LinkedIn, job boards, databases, talent pools and referrals.
• Strong search skills and the ability to identify relevant talent for a range of requirements.
• Confidence approaching and engaging prospective candidates through different communication channels.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to assess candidate experience and suitability against role requirements.
• A proactive and curious approach to finding talent and solving sourcing challenges.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple sourcing priorities.
• Experience using an ATS or recruitment technology.

Nice to have

• Experience sourcing for specialist, niche or hard-to-fill roles.
• Experience using talent intelligence, market mapping or recruitment data to inform sourcing strategies.
• Experience within an RPO, MSP, agency or in-house talent acquisition environment.

Experience sourcing talent across a range of professional and specialist disciplines, including contingent hiring.

• Knowledge of advanced search techniques and different approaches to identifying passive talent.
