Job summary

IC24 Ltd is hiring an Onboarding Coordinator to streamline the joining process from offer to first day. You will coordinate pre-employment checks, prepare contracts and maintain accurate records while collaborating with People, IT and Resource Planning teams to ensure a smooth start for new colleagues.

You’ll need experience in HR, onboarding or compliance, with attention to detail and strong communication skills. The role supports safeguarding and equity in employment within IC24.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR, recruitment, onboarding or compliance is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in records.
• Able to manage deadlines and take ownership from start to finish.
• Ability to prioritise competing demands and adapt quickly.
• Clear written and spoken communication, including phone.
• Capable of handling difficult conversations with candidates and managers.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and manage expectations.

Responsibilities

• Own the onboarding journey from verbal offer to first day.
• Coordinate pre-employment checks including DBS and right-to-work.
• Prepare clinical and non-clinical contracts and maintain records.
• Keep candidates informed with timely, professional updates.
• Support hiring managers with onboarding requirements and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with People Hub, IT and Resource Planning on start dates.
• Track onboarding progress and report bottlenecks and risks.
• Assist recruitment open days and events as required.
• Identify and implement process improvements for onboarding.
