Job description

Talent Development

Global Consumer Business

6-Month Temporary Assignment

£450-£550 per day DOE

Location: London - Hybrid 3 days a week
Duration: 6 months (approx.)
Day Rate: £450-£550 per day, depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a global consumer-based business to recruit an experienced Talent Development for a six-month assignment.

The global Talent Acceleration function sits within People & Culture and operates across the US, EMEA and APAC, focusing on six key areas: Leadership Development, Onboarding, Culture, AI-Native Work & Workforce, Talent Management and Team Effectiveness.

This is a fast-paced, commercially focused environment where the successful individual will work closely with senior leadership and take ownership of projects from design through to delivery.

The role is deliberately broad and agile. Rather than owning one fixed area, you will work across multiple priorities, picking up projects where additional expertise and delivery capacity is needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive projects across leadership development, onboarding, culture, AI-enabled workforce initiatives, talent management and team effectiveness.
  • Design and deliver programmes end-to-end, from scoping and content development through to implementation and evaluation.
  • Partner with HR leads, business leaders and wider People & Culture teams across EMEA and globally.
  • Facilitate workshops, training programmes and leadership sessions for audiences ranging from early-career colleagues to senior leaders.
  • Manage project plans, milestones, trackers and status reporting, proactively identifying risks and dependencies.
  • Use data, insight and feedback to measure impact and continuously improve programmes.
  • Pick up projects already in flight, quickly establish priorities and drive them through to completion.
  • Work closely with global leads while taking ownership of day-to-day design and delivery decisions.
About You

We are looking for an experienced Talent Development, Leadership Development, Organisational Development, L&D or Talent Management professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment.

You will ideally have:

  • 7+ years' experience in talent development, leadership development, OD, talent management or a related People & Culture discipline.
  • Experience managing and delivering multiple programmes simultaneously.
  • A strong track record designing and delivering talent, L&D and culture programmes at scale within a global, multi-region organisation.
  • Strong programme management and delivery skills, with the ability to quickly pick up and progress live projects.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with confidence engaging audiences at all levels.
  • Strong senior stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence regional HR and functional leaders.
  • The ability to operate comfortably with ambiguity, pace and changing priorities.
  • Based in EMEA with the right to work in the UK, and flexibility to work occasionally across US Eastern and APAC time zones.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience within a high-growth consumer products, retail or similarly fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Exposure to behavioural science, human-centred design, product thinking or experience design.
  • Practical experience using AI tools to enable the workforce or redesign ways of working.
  • Previous contract or interim experience, with a proven ability to deliver at pace and hand over projects effectively.
The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Talent professional to join a high-profile global talent function during an exciting period of growth and transformation.

You will have genuine ownership, senior stakeholder exposure and the opportunity to work across a broad range of global talent initiatives.
