Job description

London | 11-Month Contract

We're hiring an experienced Talent Development Programme Manager to join the Employee Experience function of a major global technology business, leading the delivery of leadership development and talent programmes across EMEA.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of high-profile learning and development initiatives within a sophisticated, global and highly matrixed organisation.

You’ll work closely with HR Business Partners, business leaders and global Talent Development teams, translating business and regional priorities into engaging learning experiences that make a measurable difference to employees and leaders.

This isn't purely a strategy role. We're looking for someone who enjoys making things happen and can combine strong Talent Development / L&D expertise with exceptional programme management and operational delivery.

What you'll be doing

You’ll manage a portfolio of leadership and talent development programmes across EMEA, taking responsibility for the complete programme lifecycle-from planning and stakeholder engagement through to communications, delivery, measurement and continuous improvement.

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of leadership, talent and employee development programmes across EMEA
  • Partnering with HRBPs, business leaders and global Talent Development colleagues to identify regional requirements and priorities
  • Managing multiple programmes and workstreams simultaneously in a fast-moving international environment
  • Creating engaging, accessible and memorable learning and employee experiences
  • Managing programme operations including budgets, vendors, facilitators, learning systems, communications and reporting
  • Building programme communications that drive awareness, participation and engagement
  • Using learner feedback, engagement data and programme insights to measure effectiveness and continually improve delivery
  • Applying AI and GenAI tools to improve communications, analyse feedback, streamline administration and create more efficient programme workflows
  • Identifying opportunities to simplify processes and improve the scalability and effectiveness of Talent Development delivery
What we're looking for

You’ll ideally have strong experience in Talent Development, Leadership Development, Learning & Development (L&D), Talent Management or Employee Experience, combined with substantial programme management capability.

We’re particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Experience delivering complex Talent Development, Leadership Development or L&D programmes from end to end
  • Strong programme and project management skills, including managing multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Experience working within a large global, matrixed organisation
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including partnering with HRBPs and senior business stakeholders
  • The ability to influence effectively across functions and levels without direct authority
  • Experience managing programme budgets, external vendors and operational delivery
  • A strong understanding of the learner journey and employee experience
  • Confidence using data, feedback and insights to evaluate and improve programmes
  • Practical experience using AI / Generative AI tools to improve productivity, communications, analysis or programme delivery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive approach-you spot issues, identify opportunities and take ownership rather than waiting for direction
Why this role?

You’ll be joining the Employee Experience organisation of one of the world's best-known technology businesses, operating at significant international scale.

It’s a role for someone who enjoys the intersection of people, learning, technology and programme delivery: someone who cares about the quality of the employee experience but is equally comfortable getting into the operational detail required to make complex programmes work.
