Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a Talent/OD function.
• Experience designing capability and development strategies.
• Experience building talent pipelines, succession planning & internal mobility.
• Strong understanding of EDI and inclusive development practices.
• Experience leading early careers programmes (apprenticeships, graduate schemes).
• Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders at executive level.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making.
• Experience managing external learning providers & partnerships.
• CIPD Chartered Member desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Talent & Development strategy across learning, talent, EDI and academy functions.
• Design and embed capability frameworks for leadership, technical and professional development.
• Build and deliver talent strategies including succession planning and internal mobility.
• Drive a skills-based approach to workforce development and future capability planning.
• Lead early careers programmes and professional pathways.
• Ensure inclusive learning practices across development activity.
• Develop external partnerships with learning providers and industry bodies.
• Oversee learning solutions with quality, value for money, and governance.
• Use data and insight to measure impact and continuously improve interventions.
• Lead and inspire a high-performing Talent & Development team.
