Job Title: Talent Acquisition Partner - 6 month FTC
Location(s): Hybrid - Manchester, Gloucester or Harlow
Job Description:

Working across the Raytheon UK core business areas, supporting the recruitment lifecycle within RTX. Working closely with the business and functional stakeholders to shape the growth of RTX. This role involves a collaborative approach to acquiring talent both internally and externally to meet future resourcing needs.

The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for sourcing, attracting, evaluating, and hiring candidates to fill open positions now and for future growth. With a direct-to-market model, the focus is on delivering for the business, utilizing a blended approach to meet service level agreements.

What you’ll do:
  1. Forge Relationships – develop and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders, increasing the visibility of the talent acquisition team through engagement and meetings. Partner with People & Culture Business Partners to meet recruitment requirements and provide strategic support. Collaborate with the talent development team to fill roles from internal pipelines. Manage the candidate experience with timely communication and feedback.
  2. Strategic Guidance – develop sourcing strategies, manage recruitment delivery, and advise from strategy to offer. Understand diverse recruitment needs and translate them into effective solutions. Implement plans to promote diversity, attraction, and a positive candidate experience. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements.
  3. Innovative Solutions – facilitate recruitment for hard-to-fill and specialist roles through postings and sourcing on various platforms. Deliver tailored presentations to stakeholders, offering creative sourcing solutions.
  4. Stakeholder Support – ensure recruitment success and stakeholder satisfaction. Manage reference checks, security, and background screenings. Prepare regular analysis and action plans.
Who we are looking for:
  • Proven success in permanent or contract recruitment, ideally within a matrix organization
  • Experience in direct-to-market recruitment, including writing job ads and sourcing on platforms like LinkedIn
  • Flexible sourcing approach internally and externally
  • Internal resourcing experience
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity, Software, Defence, Aerospace, or similar technical fields
  • Experience with talent pipelines, early careers, and talent development support
