Job summary

Catering in Harrogate is seeking a Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator to own the end-to-end recruitment process and onboarding, ensuring a positive start for every new joiner. The role is permanent and based in Harrogate, with travel between sites as required.

You’ll be organised, proactive and adept at building relationships with candidates and hiring managers, delivering timely updates and a great candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in an in-house recruitment or talent acquisition role.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment legislation and best practice.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to travel between sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment from advertising vacancies to onboarding.
• Write and post engaging job adverts across platforms.
• Screen applications and coordinate interviews.
• Build strong relationships with hiring managers and provide updates.
• Coordinate candidate communication, interviews, feedback, and offers.
• Conduct interviews where appropriate.
• Complete pre-employment checks (references, right to work, DBS, medicals, drug & alcohol testing).
• Prepare contracts, offers, and onboarding documentation.
• Coordinate induction programmes for smooth onboarding.
• Represent the business at recruitment events and careers fairs.
