Job summary

Cardiff Metropolitan University is seeking a Recruitment Advisor to join the Professional and Support area. You will run recruitment campaigns for hiring managers and candidates, advise on fair selection practice and design attraction activity.

You will use digital platforms and social media to reach candidates, lead service-improvement projects, and contribute to an inclusive, high-quality recruitment service. A degree in HR, business or law is required.

Qualifications

• Sound understanding of employment legislation as applied to recruitment, selection and onboarding.
• Analysing and interpreting data to support decisions and improvement.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Highly organised, managing competing priorities and multiple campaigns at once.
• Proactive, identifying improvements and leading initiatives through to implementation with attention to detail.
• Building relationships with stakeholders and influencing at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Leading recruitment campaigns, giving a proactive, responsive, high-quality service to hiring managers and candidates.
• Advising on recruitment best practice to keep selection fair, inclusive and evidence-based.
• Designing job adverts, attraction campaigns and social media content to promote the university as an employer of choice.
• Using data and insight to inform recruitment decisions, evaluate success and identify service improvements.
• Leading projects that improve the recruitment service and the experience of candidates and hiring managers.
