Job summary

Cardiff Metropolitan University is seeking a Recruitment Advisor to attract, engage and appoint talented colleagues who will contribute to Strategy 2030. You will lead recruitment campaigns, advise on best practices, and design compelling job adverts to attract diverse talent.

You'll use data to inform decisions, measure success and drive service improvements while coordinating with stakeholders across the university to deliver an outstanding candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading recruitment campaigns across varied roles.
• Experience delivering targeted attraction campaigns using digital recruitment platforms and social media.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Degree in HR/Business/Law or related subject.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment campaigns and provide proactive, high‑quality service to hiring managers and candidates.
• Advise on recruitment best practices to ensure fair, inclusive and evidence‑based processes.
• Design engaging job adverts and attraction campaigns to showcase Cardiff Met as an employer of choice.
• Use data and insights to inform recruitment decisions, evaluate success and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead projects that enhance the recruitment service and candidate experience.
