Howden invites applications for a Talent Acquisition Apprenticeship in London, starting January 2027. You join in a permanent role from day one while completing an 18-month development programme.

The role requires living within commutable distance to London and offers hands-on recruitment experience across hiring, marketing and candidate engagement. You will gain a recognised qualification (Level 3 HR apprenticeship) and work in a structured environment alongside experienced colleagues.

• Clear and confident communicator with good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Learn how the Talent Acquisition team partners with hiring managers to understand skills and capabilities.
• Assist in creating clear, engaging job descriptions and recruitment content.
• Arrange interviews and assessment centres, coordinating diaries and availability.
• Communicate with candidates throughout the process and provide timely updates.
• Manage candidate inboxes and respond professionally to questions.
• Review first-stage applications and learn how to assess candidates for fit.
• Learn to review live and pre-recorded video interviews.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and insights.
• Learn to use recruitment systems and tools supporting the process.
