Job summary

Howden is seeking a motivated candidate for its Human Resources Apprenticeship Programme 2027 in Milton Keynes. You’ll join an 18-month development programme while starting in a permanent role from day one, working in the office at least three days per week.

You’ll gain real HR experience with structured learning, benefit from funded professional qualifications, and contribute to a positive employee experience across the UK and Ireland.

Qualifications

• No prior insurance experience required; training provided.
• Final year or recent school leaver.
• Able to commute and live within a commutable distance.

Responsibilities

• Complete a structured induction and support HR team from day one.
• Support HR Advisory and Employee Services teams with everyday queries.
• Assist with onboarding, employee records and data analysis.
• Help maintain HR records and prepare reports for the business.
