Job summary

British Weight Lifting is seeking a Performance Project Manager to lead the Talent Academy Programme and Raise the Bar projects. You will drive end-to-end delivery, governance and continual improvement, coordinating multiple external partners and internal teams.

The role connects performance pathways with grassroots delivery, supporting coaches and volunteers and working with marketing to promote clubs and projects. This is a hybrid, home-based admin role with regular travel across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering end-to-end projects with governance and improvement.
• Ability to coordinate multiple external partners and internal teams.
• Willingness to travel domestically and work occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle for Talent Academy and Raise the Bar initiatives, including plans, schedules and risk registers.
• Conduct site visits to Talent Academies (up to one day a week, Oct-Apr).
• Support quarterly Performance Pathway Trials and athlete assessment events.
• Ensure alignment with BWL policies, safeguarding guidelines and Sport England funding conditions.
• Support annual funding applications with the Head of Performance Operations.
