Job summary

Comunidad Lift seeks a Lead Academy Performance Coach to drive the physical performance strategy for the FP and YDP players aged 9-16. You will lead a team of performance coaches, integrating sport science and strength and conditioning within a youth development programme.

The role collaborates with HoP, physiotherapist, and S&C staff to innovate and implement best practices, manage testing, and periodise schedules while maintaining safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with elite youth athletes (9-16).
• CASES accreditation and UKSCA accreditation are required.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary team and safeguarding standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the academy performance strategy for FP and YDP.
• Provide performance support to select YDP age groups and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with HoP and clinical staff to plan development and recovery.
• Oversee GPS data collection, reporting, and readiness to train.
• Lead internal CPD and recruitment for FP and YDP performance staff.
