Job summary

Johnson's Dry Cleaners, part of the Timpson Group, is seeking a skilled tailor to join our Harrogate team. If you have expert sewing and alteration skills and enjoy delivering outstanding customer service, this permanent full-time role could be for you.

You will work 40 hours across five days, including weekends. Starting pay is £12.75 per hour, rising to £12.80 after a successful trial, with an uncapped weekly bonus.

Job Description

Your day-to-day responsibilities will be to effectively support the Area Manager and branches in the Area with a Repairs and Alteration service.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• You will be required to carry out all types of alterations and repairs working: Shortening and lengthening all types of garments

• Taking in or letting out garments to adjust the size

• Replace broken zippers in garments
• Other related repair / alterations work
• Curtain shortening
• Help serve customers in the branch and discuss their needs including fittings
