Randstad Construction & Property is actively seeking a Tactical Sourcing & Procurement Buyer to manage end-to-end procurement across direct categories for Southampton and Portsmouth schemes. The role emphasizes proactive stakeholder collaboration, competitive tenders, and ongoing supplier performance in a hybrid 4-day week.

The successful candidate will oversee onboarding, governance, and cost optimisation, working with operations, commercial and senior leaders across multiple depots.

Qualifikationen

• Proven end-to-end procurement experience across direct categories.
• Ability to run tenders, evaluate bids, and make award recommendations.
• Strong numerical/analytical skills and cost awareness.
• Excel proficiency and ICT literacy.
• UK driving licence preferred to support travel between depots.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute sourcing plans for Southampton and Portsmouth schemes.
• Oversee requisition approvals and governance according to procurement procedures.
• Lead supplier onboarding, due diligence, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with project management, operations, HSEQS and senior leadership across depots.
• Identify value-for-money opportunities and report savings/Avoidance across direct spend.
