Job summary

Irlam Endowed Primary is seeking an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our Language Resource Unit, supporting SEND pupils and delivering high-quality teaching and learning in collaboration with the team.

You will work alongside staff in our Resource Provision and sometimes support children in mainstream classes. We value kindness, resilience, respect and diversity, and are committed to safeguarding and inclusion.

About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate teaching assistant to join our growing Language Resource Unit. The successful candidate will work closely alongside the team in our Resource Provision to deliver high-quality teaching and learning to the children. There will also be times when you support with children in our mainstream classes. We want an individual who is able to demonstrate exemplary classroom practice, and who has a good understanding of how children with additional needs learn. It is an ideal prospect for someone who is passionate about supporting SEND children and committed to working with children and families.
