Wirral Council is seeking two Systems Support Officers to enhance system support and information management within its directorate. Ideal candidates will possess advanced IT and analytical skills, aimed at improving user engagement and providing tailored training. We’re looking to appoint 2 Systems Support Officers on a fixed-term basis until 31st March 2026.
The role of Systems Support Officer will be to support the implementation of high-quality system configuration and development to deliver effective information/case management systems. You will provide support, training, and advice to all authorized users of Directorate systems, identifying gaps in user knowledge, system usage, and functionality. Supporting product development and user best practices, which will feed into training, product development, and reporting work streams. You will deliver and evaluate departmental information/case management system training courses tailored to staff needs.
We are looking for candidates with high IT skills such as configuration, development, fault finding, and diagnosis, with the ability to present clearly and persuasively. You must demonstrate high-level presentation skills suitable for all audiences. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and an excellent understanding of case management systems. Above all, you will aim to improve engagement with our customers, ensuring they are at the heart of everything we do.
