Remote Working | Progression into QA Testing & Automation | Private Medical Insurance | SC Clearance Eligibility Required

Ada Meher is currently working with a scaling SaaS vendor as they look to recruit a 2nd Line Support Engineer to work with their QA and Support team and progress into a QA Testing role, eventually mastering Automation testing. The role will initially involve working on technical support both on the phones and live chat, as well as knowledge sharing with the QAs in the team and learning Manual testing. Further down the line, the role offers progression into Automation testing.

This position suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, is ambitious, and career-focused.

The ideal candidate is self-driven and ambitious enough to work independently while leveraging internal resources for personal development. The company emphasizes personal development plans for all staff.

Minimum Requirements:
  1. Prior experience in a 2nd Line Support role
  2. Experience troubleshooting system issues
  3. Experience handling and escalating JIRA tickets
  4. Strong communication skills
  5. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices
  6. Any prior testing experience is a plus

Security Clearance: Due to work in the public sector, applicants must be eligible for SC clearance, which requires:

  • Residency in the UK for the last 5 years
  • No continuous absence over 28 days
  • A clean DBS
