Job summary
Raytheon UK in Gloucester is seeking a Systems Engineer for a full-time, on-site role within the IT support team. You will maintain a reliable IT environment, bridging project and business units via JIRA Service Desk, and work within ISO27001:2022 aligned IT governance at scale.
The role requires hands-on maintenance of hardware, software, networks, and the laptop estate, with strong knowledge of Windows/macOS and PowerShell.
Qualifications
- Experience maintaining IT estate including hardware, software, networks.
- Ability to work on-site with minimal supervision at Gloucester.
- Experience with JIRA Service Desk administration.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, patching, and updates of the IT estate.
- Conduct regular audits, reports and risk assessments.
- Provide technical support to end users across devices and peripherals.
- Manage user accounts, onboarding/offboarding, permissions and access.
- Maintain accurate incident/resolution/documentation records.
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding and device setup.
- Support meeting rooms, AV equipment, printers, and telephony systems.
