Job summary

Raytheon UK is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our cross-functional team on Manchester or Gloucester sites. You will design and build secure software, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to milestones in an Agile environment.

Candidates must be eligible for SC and eDV clearance and will work with cloud services, containerization, IaC, and data/search tech in a Defence-focused setting. The role emphasizes DevSecOps practices at scale, with exposure to AWS/Azure,

Qualifications

• Willing to hold SC and eDV clearance.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Experience with containerisation/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with relational databases and search technologies (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch).
• Experience with testing frameworks (Mocha, Jest, Cypress).
• Experience working in an Agile delivery team and GitLab workflows.
