Job summary
Raytheon UK in Gloucester is recruiting a Systems Engineer for an on-site, full-time role delivering IT support across hardware, software, networks and business-critical systems. You'll bridge project and business units using JIRA Service Desk and support ISO27001:2022 compliant IT operations.
The role requires experience with endpoint management, networking, scripting in PowerShell, and hands-on work on Windows and macOS.
Qualifications
- Experience maintaining laptop estate via endpoint management
- Knowledge of networking, security and IT governance
- Experience delivering IT projects
- Administration of JIRA and Confluence
- PowerShell scripting and troubleshooting
- Windows and macOS knowledge
- On-site work with minimal supervision
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+, ITIL 4, ISO27001
Responsibilities
- Maintain IT estate: patching, updates
- Conduct audits, reports and risk assessments
- Provide end-user technical support across devices
- Manage user accounts and access
- Contribute to IT project milestones
- Document incidents and asset inventory
- Assist onboarding/offboarding and device setup
- Support meeting rooms, AV, printers, telephony
- Diagnose and resolve on-site hardware/software issues
