Job summary

Raytheon UK in Gloucester is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our IT support team, delivering reliable hardware, software, networks and mission‑critical systems and acting as a bridge between project and business units via the JIRA Service Desk.

This on‑site role requires SC/eDV clearance eligibility; you will perform routine maintenance, audits and risk assessments, support end users across devices, manage accounts and contribute to IT projects while maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining laptop estate via endpoint management software.
• Knowledge of networking, including security and IT governance frameworks.
• Working experience with IT project delivery.
• Administration of Atlassian JIRA and Confluence.
• PowerShell scripting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, patching, and updates of the IT estate.
• Conduct regular audits, reports and risk assessments.
• Provide technical support to end users across devices.
• Manage user accounts, onboarding/offboarding, and access permissions.
• Contribute to IT project milestones and maintain documentation.
• Support meeting rooms, AV equipment, printers, and telephony systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on-site.
