Job summary

Matchtech is recruiting a Systems Engineer to join a growing Defence Training & Simulation Systems team in the UK. The role covers the full Systems Engineering lifecycle from requirements capture and design to integration, verification, deployment and customer acceptance on complex programmes.

The successful candidate will work across the V-Model, contribute to system-level thinking, and tackle challenging integration across hardware, software and networks.

Qualifications

• Experience with Systems Engineering lifecycle and V-Model concepts.
• Ability to manage requirements and think at system level.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Support full lifecycle activities: requirements capture, design, integration, verification, deployment, and customer acceptance.
• Work across hardware, software and networks to solve complex integration challenges.
• Engage stakeholders across multidisciplinary programmes within Defence, Maritime, Naval, Mission Systems or Training environments.
