Job summary

Electus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer to support immersive training, simulation and defence consultancy projects in Portsmouth. The role spans the full engineering lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, integration and verification, with SC clearance required to start.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Systems Engineering role with lifecycle understanding.
• Proficient in requirements management and traceability.
• Strong ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design, development and implementation of complex defence systems.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to meet requirements.
• Produce and maintain systems engineering documentation including requirements, architectures, design, test and BOMs.
• Present technical material for design reviews.
• Support subcontractor management and review technical deliverables.
• Provide systems engineering support across projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and produce technical reports.
• Support integration, test and verification activities and present evidence.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of engineering processes.
