Anson McCade is seeking a technically strong Senior Systems Engineer who can work across the full engineering lifecycle, with focus on requirements, integration, verification, validation and qualification. This hands-on role involves engaging stakeholders and operating across hardware, software and firmware in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with requirements management, system architecture, or integration and testing.
• Good understanding of verification, validation or certification processes.
• Experience with model-based engineering techniques, including MBSE, is desirable.
• Confident working across hardware, software or firmware.

Responsibilities

• Work on the right-hand side of the V lifecycle, supporting integration, verification, validation and qualification activities.
• Capture, manage and mature requirements.
• Develop test documentation, test plans and test specifications.
• Execute integration and validation tests.
• Create and maintain VVRM documentation.
• Support acceptance activities and safety requirements.

This role suits someone who is hands‑on, confident engaging with stakeholders, and comfortable working across hardware, software and firmware in a complex engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on the right-hand side of the V lifecycle, supporting integration, verification, validation and qualification activities.
• Capture, manage and mature requirements.
• Develop test documentation, test plans and test specifications.
• Execute integration and validation tests.
• Create and maintain VVRM documentation.
• Support acceptance activities and safety requirements.

Your Background

• Strong experience with requirements management, system architecture, or integration and testing.
• Good understanding of verification, validation or certification processes.
• Experience with model-based engineering techniques, including MBSE, is desirable.
• Confident working across hardware, software or firmware.
• Degree or equivalent experience in an engineering discipline.
• Competitive salary up to £70k.
• 3 days per week hybrid in Belfast.
• Relocation support if needed.
