Job summary

WR Engineering is seeking a Systems Engineer to join a team delivering safety-critical projects in a highly regulated environment. You will contribute across the full engineering lifecycle, from concept to commissioning, including requirements capture and interface management.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams and be involved in verification, validation and safety-case activities, with opportunities to grow within a dynamic, hybrid-working setting.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND/HNC in engineering.
• Experience delivering projects using systems engineering principles.
• Knowledge of requirements management tools such as DOORS, SysML, UML.
• Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in nuclear or highly regulated industries is advantageous.
• Professional registration or INCOSE certification desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the full project lifecycle across systems engineering activities.
• Capture and manage customer and stakeholder requirements.
• Develop system architectures, functional models and interface definitions.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, controls and software disciplines.
• Support verification, validation and integration activities.
• Contribute to safety cases, hazard analyses and risk assessments.
• Assist with technical bids, design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Systems Engineer - to £50k - hybrid working

I'm looking for a talented Systems Engineer to join an innovative engineering team delivering complex, safety-critical projects. If you enjoy solving challenging technical problems, working across multidisciplinary teams, and seeing projects through the full engineering lifecycle, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

The Role

You'll play a key role in delivering high-integrity engineering solutions, supporting projects from concept through to commissioning. Working alongside experienced engineers and project teams, you'll be involved in requirements capture, systems architecture, interface management, verification & validation, and technical assurance.
