Job summary

Anson McCade is seeking a technically strong Senior Systems Engineer to work across the full engineering lifecycle, with emphasis on requirements, integration, verification, validation and qualification. The role is based in Belfast with a 3 days per week hybrid pattern, and offers relocation support if needed.

You will engage with stakeholders, operate across hardware, software and firmware in a demanding environment, and take ownership of challenging customer-facing programmes where quality

Qualifications

• Strong experience with requirements management, system architecture, or integration and testing.
• Good understanding of verification, validation or certification processes.
• Experience with model-based engineering techniques, including MBSE, is desirable.
• Confident working across hardware, software or firmware.

This role suits someone who is hands‑on, confident engaging with stakeholders, and comfortable working across hardware, software and firmware in a complex engineering environment.

Your Background

• Strong experience with requirements management, system architecture, or integration and testing.
• Good understanding of verification, validation or certification processes.
• Experience with model-based engineering techniques, including MBSE, is desirable.
• Confident working across hardware, software or firmware.
• Degree or equivalent experience in an engineering discipline.
• Competitive salary up to £70k.
• 3 days per week hybrid in Belfast.
• Relocation support if needed.
