Job summary

Anson McCade is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in Belfast to own critical lifecycle activities across hardware, software and firmware. You will engage with stakeholders, drive integration and verification tasks, and contribute to high-quality engineering outcomes in a demanding environment.

The role requires hands-on experience across the V lifecycle with MBSE proficiency and strong problem solving, in a hybrid working setup three days per week in Belfast.

Qualifications

• Experience with requirements management, system architecture, or integration and testing.
• Understanding of verification, validation or certification processes.
• Model-based engineering (MBSE) is desirable.
• Comfort working across hardware, software and firmware.

Were looking for a technically strong Senior Systems Engineer who can work across the full engineering lifecycle, with particular focus on requirements, integration, verification, validation and qualification. This role suits someone who is hands‑on, confident engaging with stakeholders, and comfortable working across hardware, software and firmware in a complex engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

Your Background

• Strong experience with requirements management, system architecture, or integration and testing.
• Good understanding of verification, validation or certification processes.
• Experience with model-based engineering techniques, including MBSE, is desirable.
• Confident working across hardware, software or firmware.
• Degree or equivalent experience in an engineering discipline.
• Competitive salary up to £70k.
• 3 days per week hybrid in Belfast.
• Relocation support if needed.
