Job summary

Churchill College in the University of Cambridge is seeking a Systems Administrator to join the Computing Department. You will support 2nd line technical services, manage incidents and maintain uptime across virtual and physical infrastructure, applying IT governance and security practices.

The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week) with agile working options by mutual agreement. Benefits include a generous pension, five weeks' annual leave, healthcare cash-plan, free parking and lunch on site.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-line management, maintenance and support of virtual and physical infrastructure services and applications.
• Demonstrate incident and problem management, diagnosing, resolving and recovering from loss of service to maintain uptime targets.
• Contribute to IT policy setting regarding provision and use of IT resources.
