Job summary

Ashdown Group in Central London is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to own the day-to-day IT function for the UK and Europe offices. You will manage IT systems, devices, security, SaaS tools and office technology in a hands-on role, including Google Workspace and Slack administration.

The role offers autonomy and variety, with two work-from-home days per week, enabling you to shape an in-house IT function for a fast-growing global business.

Qualifications

• Experience with MacOS devices and MDM tools (e.g., JAMF).
• Proficient in Google Workspace administration.
• Familiar with identity, access and security basics.
• Autonomous, hands-on IT professional eager to help establish an in-house IT function.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day IT function for the UK and Europe offices.

• Manage a fleet of Mac devices including procurement, build, MDM enrolment and updates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; ensure security best practices.

Job description

A fast-growing global firm is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join the team in Central London. The business embraces flexibility so you will be able to work from home 2 days per week.

In this brand-new role, you will own the day-to-day IT function for the UK and Europe office. You will act as a trusted expert for IT requests in this hands-on position covering IT systems, devices, security, SaaS and office technology. You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, administer Google Workspace and Slack, and manage a fleet of Mac devices including procurement, build, MDM enrolment and updates.

In order to be suitable for this role you will be a dynamic IT professional with hands-on experience with MacOS devices including MDM tools like JAMF etc. You will hold prior experience of Google Workspace administration alongside a solid grounding in identity, access and security basics. It is advantageous to have scripting or automation experience, but this is by no means necessary.
