Job description

The Systems Administration Manager is responsible for leading the system administration operations in the UK and the EMEA region. Environments may include on premise and hosted cloud-based solutions. This role encompasses both team management and a hands-on approach to support, operations, and project delivery.

Your Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute to the planning and development of the Systems Administration team and operations.
  2. Participate in rosters and arrangements for 24/7 service delivery, provide on-call support, and 3rd line support as directed by the EMEA IT Infrastructure Manager.
  3. Manage the system administrator team, including appraisal, resource planning, coaching, mentoring, and training.
  4. Oversee all Systems Administration processes such as vulnerability management, patch management, change management, and asset management.
  5. Work with the EMEA Infrastructure Manager to monitor staff progress and training needs.
Your Experience:
  1. Successful track record in managing and developing a systems administration team.
  2. Experience in a team-oriented, collaborative, distributed environment.
  3. Experience supporting IT solutions for medium-to-large enterprises.
  4. Experience with cloud solutions, storage, networking, hypervisors, Citrix, and Windows domains.
  5. Certifications and experience in M365, Azure, ITIL, Microsoft, Cloud, Storage, Virtualization, etc.

Proficiency in managing systems administrators, core IT systems, infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and security services is essential. A strong background in systems administration, team management, and collaboration is required.
