Job Description:

Due to a number of new business wins and continued growth, my client, a leading pension consultancy, is seeking an experienced Pensions Administration Manager to lead an established team.

The role is varied and includes:

  • Leading the administration service for a number of blue-chip clients
  • Overseeing the daily management of client relationships from an administration perspective and participating in client/trustee meetings
  • Being a focal point for team technical issues
  • Overseeing scheme project work and taking responsibility for invoicing, ensuring all administration is correctly recorded and billed
  • Assisting less experienced colleagues and ensuring their work is scrutinized
  • Implementing training, coaching, appraisals, and setting individual and team goals
  • Working closely with Seniors and Team Leaders to ensure smooth team operations and a high level of service

Applicants must have a proven background in pensions administration, especially in Defined Benefit schemes and related calculations. You should be able to lead by example and help develop less experienced colleagues. A positive approach, mentorship, influence, and relationship management skills are essential.
