Regional HR Manager – Europe and West Africa

Location: London

Shape the Future of Regional HR at ABL Group

ABL Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Regional HR Manager to lead HR operations and drive cultural alignment across Europe and West Africa. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for partnering with senior regional stakeholders and HR teams to deliver people-focused solutions that support ABL’s global vision.

Your Role and Impact

Reporting to the People Director and partnering with Key Leadership Stakeholders, you will serve as a key advisor and HR lead across multiple countries. Your mission: enable operational excellence, ensure legal compliance, and foster a high-performing, inclusive workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop regional HR teams, fostering a culture of growth and performance.
  • Partner with leadership to drive talent planning, change management, and organisational development.
  • Oversee core HR operations, including payroll, compliance, HRIS, and employee data.
  • Manage HR due diligence and integration efforts during M&A activity.
  • Handle employee relations with integrity and cultural awareness.
  • Champion performance management, succession planning, and learning strategies.
  • Collaborate with global HR functions (TA, L&D, C&B) on local execution of global initiatives.
  • Use HR metrics to inform decisions and improve employee experience.
  • Ensure all people practices align with HSEQ standards and local legislation.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years in a senior HR role within a multinational or regional setting
  • Deep understanding of employment law in Europe and/or West Africa
  • Proven leadership in managing HR teams and supporting change initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills
  • Proficient in HRIS and data-driven HR decision-making
  • Fluent in English (additional regional languages are a plus)
  • Adaptable, proactive, and resilient in dynamic environments
