Alliance Pharmaceuticals Limited is seeking a D365 Finance and Operations Analyst / Systems Accountant (Finance Business Technology Analyst) in Chippenham. This permanent, hybrid role focuses on optimising core business systems across Finance, Supply Chain and operations.

You will support, configure and optimise Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, deliver system enhancements, manage changes and provide expert user guidance while engaging with senior stakeholders and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum finance experience with strong ERP background.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP and related systems.
• Experience in ERP change initiatives and system enhancements.
• Understanding of end-to-end systems lifecycle from requirements to support.
• Ability to translate business needs into effective system solutions.

D365 Finance and Operations Analyst / Systems Accountant will be known internally as Finance Business Technology Analyst

Chippenham, Wiltshire (2 days onsite / Hybrid) - Permanent

We are looking for a Finance Business Technology Analyst to join our Business Technology & Data team. This is an exciting opportunity for an finance systems specialist with a strong finance background to play a key role in supporting, enhancing and optimising our core business systems.

Working closely with Finance, Supply Chain and wider operational teams, you will provide both technical and functional expertise across our Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP environment and associated applications. You will support system improvements, business change initiatives and day-to-day operational support, helping ensure our critical systems continue to deliver value across the organisation.

As Finance Business Technology Analyst, you’ll be responsible for

• Support the analysis, documentation and prioritisation of business and system requirements
• Assist in the delivery of ERP enhancements, upgrades and improvement initiatives
• Provide expert functional support across Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related business systems
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain and operational teams to identify opportunities for optimisation
• Support testing activities, release readiness and user acceptance processes
• Troubleshoot system issues, undertake root cause analysis and improve system adoption
• Manage and document requests, incidents and changes through ITSM and DevOps tools
• Create and maintain system procedures, training materials and user guidance

• Work confidently with senior stakeholders, business process owners and third-party vendors

We're looking for a commercially minded Systems Accountant who combines strong ERP expertise with a passion for driving business improvement through technology. To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• Strong Finance experience with a solid understanding of business processes, controls and ERP-enabled operations.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, including system configuration, support and optimisation.
• Experience supporting ERP change initiatives, continuous improvement programmes and system enhancement activities.
• Knowledge of the full systems lifecycle, including requirements gathering, testing, implementation, upgrades and ongoing support.
• Experience working with integrated systems, third-party applications and external interfaces.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and deliver practical solutions.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions that drive operational efficiency and business value.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage at all levels of the organisation.
• A proactive, accountable approach with the ability to work independently while building strong collaborative relationships across teams.
• A continuous improvement mindset, coupled with exceptional attention to detail and a drive to optimise systems, processes and technology investments.
