Job summary

East Kent Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time SACT Scheduler (Band 4) for 30 hours per week at William Harvey Hospital, Ashford. The role supports accurate chemotherapy scheduling and coordination across units to meet national targets.

You will maintain patient records, liaise with pharmacy and other Trust departments, and ensure timely treatment pathways. Experience in cancer care and strong organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in a customer-facing role.
• Experience communicating with a range of disciplines at all levels.
• Experience of managing targets within tight deadlines.
• Experience working with patients with a cancer diagnosis.
• Operational/problem solving experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate and review chemotherapy scheduling and bookings.
• Maintain patient records on KOMS and referral/pathway systems.
• Coordinate treatment capacity with pharmacy, aseptics and other Trust departments.
• Provide training and guidance to colleagues to maintain a safe, efficient service.
• Escalate delays, new regimens and scheduling concerns as required.
