Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester is seeking a Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy Scheduler to join the chemotherapy team. You will schedule SACT treatments and outpatient appointments while supporting reception duties in a busy environment.

You will need excellent communication, teamwork, and IT skills to use hospital systems. Training will be provided and you may work varied shifts between 7:30am and 6pm, with some bank holidays and Saturdays on rotation.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a busy multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in hospital information systems; training will be provided.
• Flexibility to cover reception duties and irregular shifts.

Responsibilities

• Schedule SACT treatment and Outpatients appointments.
• Communicate with patients and relatives face to face and by phone.
• Meet deadlines and maintain professional conduct.
• Cover reception duties and work shifts 7:30am–6pm, including some bank holidays.
