Job summary

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust invites applications for a SACT trained chemotherapy staff nurse on the Chartwell Unit in Maidstone. You will care for haematology patients receiving systemic anti‑cancer therapy.

The role requires autonomy with team collaboration, delivering holistic, proactive care and supporting patients and carers through all stages of treatment.

Non‑SACT trained candidates will be considered at Band 5; flexible part‑time hours and access to NHS development and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of care to haematology patients receiving SACT and supportive treatments.
• Support the unit manager to run an effective and safe Chartwell Unit.
• Combine autonomy with teamwork, providing holistic, proactive care to patients and carers.
