Job summary

SCS Railways is recruiting a System Safety & Interoperability Engineer to join our Technical Governance & Compliance team. The role focuses on demonstrating that works meet employer requirements and providing validation and verification across work packages.

The role supports HS2 S1/S2 scope under ROgs, CSM-RA and NTSNs, performing hazard identification, risk assessments and developing safety measures, with plans and reports to evidence compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in system safety hazard identification and risk assessments.
• Ability to identify safety measures and provide evidence of implementation.

• Undertake system safety hazard identification and risk assessments across works.
• Identify safety measures and ensure evidence of implementation and reporting.
• Manage system safety activities through construction to handover to HS2.
