Zusammenfassung

SCS JV is recruiting a System Safety & Interoperability Engineer for the HS2 London scope. You will join the Technical Governance & Compliance team to ensure Works Information and Contract requirements are met through system safety and interoperability activities.

You will support plans, liaise with design and construction leads, and prepare asset safety reports while contributing to the assurance strategy and L3 certification efforts.

Qualifikationen

• Exposure to Systems Engineering and Technical Assurance.
• Experience applying System Safety and Interoperability assurance in major railway projects.
• Ability to collaborate with delivery teams, management and stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication; can convey technical concepts to construction teams.
• Awareness of involved disciplines and assurance deliverables and approvals.
• Good information management and analytical skills with project information tools.

Aufgaben

• Support the System Safety and Interoperability Manager to maintain plans and procedures.
• Coordinate with design and construction leads to plan and undertake safety activities.
• Produce asset specific system safety status reports for progressive assurance.
• Provide advice on system safety practices to project teams.
• Deliver briefings and awareness training to foster system safety competence.
• Report progress and issues on system safety activities to the System Safety Manager.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the technical assurance strategy and processes.
• Assist wider Systems Engineering & Assurance activities including tracking deliverables, maintaining configuration control, and supporting L3 Certification.
