Zusammenfassung

SCS Railways is seeking a System Safety & Interoperability Engineer to join the Technical Governance & Compliance team on HS2 works. You will support management plans, coordinate with design and construction teams, and deliver safety reports to demonstrate compliance with NTSNs and ROgs. Strong communication, plus experience in railway safety, is essential.

The role offers flexible working options and opportunities to contribute to the safety assurance strategy across the S1/S2 scope.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in applying system safety and interoperability assurance processes on major railway projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication with project teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of system safety standards and regulatory frameworks.

Aufgaben

• Support the System Safety and Interoperability Manager to maintain and implement Management Plans/Procedures/Processes.
• Liaise with design and construction leads and subcontractors to plan and undertake System Safety activities.
• Produce asset-specific system safety status reports to support progressive assurance.
• Provide advice on system safety practices to project teams.
