Aviva plc in London is seeking a Syndicate Accountant to join the Syndicate Finance team. The role supports Probitas Syndicate 1492, helping deliver accurate financial and regulatory reporting, month-end close, and Lloyd's reporting.
You will work closely with Finance and business stakeholders, strengthen financial controls and improve reporting efficiency in a collaborative and growing market, with 50% hybrid working from London. You’ll also engage with audits and group reporting processes.
Syndicate Accountant
Location: London based (50% hybrid working)
Salary: circa £70,000
This is a great job for someone who has recently achieved their ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification and is looking to build their career within the London insurance market. This role would suit someone with experience in the Lloyd's or wider insurance market who is keen to develop their technical accounting, financial reporting and regulatory reporting expertise in a collaborative and growing finance team.
Please note that previous experience within the insurance field is necessary to be successful in this role.
You'll join the Syndicate Finance team supporting Probitas Syndicate 1492, part of Aviva, where you'll help deliver accurate financial and regulatory reporting across the syndicate. Working closely with Finance and business stakeholders, you'll support month-end and year-end close activities, Lloyd's and statutory reporting, financial analysis, and audit requirements. You'll play an important role in maintaining the integrity of financial data, supporting group reporting processes, and identifying opportunities to improve financial controls and reporting efficiency.
