Job summary

Birmingham Community Leisure Trust is recruiting Swimming Teachers to join their team at Northfield Leisure Centre, Birmingham. You will deliver safe, progressive swimming lessons to babies and preschoolers, and help members of all ages build confidence in the water.

This role offers flexible, casual hours across weekdays and weekends, with training through the in‑house Aquatic Training Academy and full safeguarding/DBS support.

Qualifications

• Hold STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England Level 2.
• RLSS UK NPLQ, NRASTC or STA Safety Award advantageous but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, fun, progressive swimming lessons for babies and preschoolers.
• Teach swimmers of all ages, following Swim England framework and safety rules.
• Be flexible with hours; work around current commitments and centre needs.
