Swimming Pool and Sports Facilities Duty Manager

£22,022 per annum

Millfield School is seeking a highly motivated individual passionate about pool management to join as a Swimming Pool and Sports Facilities Duty Manager.

Millfield boasts excellent swimming programs, private lessons, and 50 and 25-meter pools. Our team of Supervisors and pool staff are vital to our success.

Applicants should have a valid NPLQ certification and ideally experience in lifeguarding and leadership. The candidate should have experience in busy pool settings, be confident, outgoing, communicative, organized, problem-solving, lead by example, and committed to high standards.

Main responsibilities include being a key holder, leading lifeguard and swim teacher teams, performing lifeguard duties at both pools, ensuring safety regulations are followed, setting up and dismantling equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and supervising the Cricket and Golf Centres. Experience in leisure or customer service is advantageous.

This is a full-time, year-round role, 35 hours/week on a rota covering pool hours during days, evenings, and weekends, with a salary of £22,022 per year.
