Do you have experience as a Maintenance Rep/Handyperson? Are you competent in minor property maintenance issues, plant, electrical, engineering, plumbing, grounds maintenance? Do you have experience dealing with the public?

Here at Rainbows Hospice, we provide specialist end-of-life, palliative and respite care to babies, children, and young people (BCYP) with conditions that may shorten their lives. We have state-of-the-art facilities at Lark Rise, which allow BCYPs with pain and physical difficulties to enjoy activities like socialising, bathing, swimming, or playing on swings. This would not be possible without our passionate Estates & Facilities Team, responsible for maintaining the safety and functionality of our buildings and grounds.
Due to expansion, we are seeking a Maintenance Rep/Handyperson to manage and perform minor repairs, ensure safe work practices, and carry out statutory checks.
This role is based at the Hospice on Lark Rise in Loughborough. Travel to retail shops for repairs or supervision of contractors may be required; therefore, a driving license is essential.
The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with participation in an on-call rota covering evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
