Leisure Solutions Community Trust is seeking a Swimming Coordinator at Westgate Leisure Centre to lead a team of Swimming Teachers, grow the lessons programme and drive community engagement. The role supports delivering high-quality swimming experiences across the centre, with some evenings and weekends and a 20-hour weekly schedule.
You will develop lessons, report on KPIs, and maintain strong customer partnerships while ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for participants of all ages.

Salary: £29,992.65 pro rata plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Permanent, 20 hours per week (additional Swim Teaching hours are available). Flexible shifts on 3-week rota including some weekends and evenings.

As a Swimming Coordinator, you'll play a key role in helping people of all ages build confidence in the water, develop essential life skills, and enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle. You'll lead and develop swimming lesson programmes, support a team of Swimming Teachers, and work closely with colleagues across the centre to drive growth, retention, and community engagement. Your work has purpose, creating a positive impact on communities while helping more people access high-quality swimming opportunities now and into the future.
Support with the marketing and promotion of the Swimming Lesson programme
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and any relevant information held by local police, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and safeguarding requirements. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to allow us to provide any support needed for you to succeed in the role.
