Job summary

Leisure Solutions Community Trust is seeking Swimming Teachers to deliver safe and engaging lessons across our venues. You will work with people of all ages, delivering progressive sessions and ensuring a welcoming learning environment.

Training will lead to an STA Level 2 qualification with support for DBS checks and safeguarding requirements. Successful candidates will join a flexible team and may work across our network of leisure centres, gaining valuable coaching experience while helping

*Please note this position is to gain an STA Level 2 Swim teaching qualification, and you do not need to hold any qualifications to apply for this*

Our next training course is taking place on the 19th - 24th October 10am - 6pm and 30th October 12pm -6pm. 100 percent attendance is required.

Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will be offered a selection of Casual / Contract Swim Teacher positions across our site.

By following the tried and tested Swim England learn to swim framework we develop the confidence in all of our swimmers through fun and enjoyable lessons. Many of our swimmers have progressed to swim competitively and even to represent our country.

Teaching ourswimminglessons will see you delivering safe fun and progressive lessons, but this is also a mentality we take towards our teachers' careers and personal development. We want you to feel safe in your employment so we will contract you for as little or many teaching hours as you want around your current commitments.

Paying for your own safeguarding andDBSchecks aren't fun or cheap so we provide these for you! There's also no need to hold your own personal insurance as you will be covered by ours. Working for us will enable you to work within all ourleisurecentres as well as giving you excellent personal and career development through continued training and learning opportunities.

What you'll need to do the role

Working as aswimmingteacher will see you interacting heavily with our customers so you will use your excellent communication andcustomer serviceskills to serve and support people of all ages and backgrounds.

You will be someone who is passionate aboutswimmingand the service they deliver ensuring you can use your motivational and organisational skills to deliver safe, fun and progressive lessons. If you can provide the enthusiasm, we will provide the training and qualification.

You must be willing to complete aNRASTC lite qualification, aDBSand have access to a computer or tablet to complete work on the course.
